Laura was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM, went to undergraduate school in Dallas, Texas, and law school in Chapel Hill, NC but has lived in Seattle for over 30 years. She has been practicing family law for 30+ years in all its forms as a solo attorney, as a Senior Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in King County, at a “high-asset” family law firm in downtown Seattle, and now as a partner in a local family law firm. Her philosophy is guiding people who need family law help through the “maze” with as little hassle and expense as possible.
Laura has 4 adult children and 1 granddaughter and her favorite activity outside work is spending time with her family and friends. She is constantly trying to be fit and loves walking. She is a firm believer that children say the “darnedest” things and she loves hearing all of it. Music in lots of different forms is always high on her agenda.
Laura is proud of being selected as the King County Bar Association Volunteer of the Month because of her strong belief in giving back to the community. A copy of the article can be accessed by clicking here.
